It’s that time of year once again! That middle of winter trip to livestock Disneyland! LOL. We love the National Western for this reason. Since we live in Colorado and really do not do winter sports, go figure, the NWSS provides that break from the mid-winter boredom we tend to get. Its nearly three weeks of entertainment ranging from Rodeo’s, Bull riding, Draft horse pull competitions, Wild West shows, dog shows, horse shows, cattle shows……whew! And so much more. Not to mention opening weekend is when we are there. The Alpacas and Llamas open the show this year on January 11-13th. Come on down as we will be there showing again as we normally do. It’s a great time to learn about alpacas or just enjoy a day out with the animals.

This year, Mary Ann is running the Alpaca fleece show. If you are attending NWSS please be sure to stop by the fleece show area and check out the display of fleeces. The judging will be completed Friday evening so by Saturday the results of the show are on display
